300 blackout bolt gun

A friend of mine here also recently acquired a 300blk also. We plan to hand load our ammo.

I am currently shopping for stocks/chassis systems for the Gen II since its a ****ty stock and no good way to mount a bipod. I also want to swap over to AICS mags so I can get the 2.5" COAL to seat those heavy bullets

I will ofcourse try some factory loads in mine as well. This thing will be shooting subs 90% of the time.

I'm not a hunter, but there's plenty of kinetic energy in a just-subsonic 265gr.

Not a lot of range though, if you check the ballistics.

Trajectory is going to be very similar in any just subsonic load, regardless of caliber or weight. Slight variation due to differing BC only. The higher the BC the further it will carry.

I think Savage and Ruger are about a tie so either of those, depending on which one feels best to you. Good luck with your purchase. I bought a Wilson Combat AR pistol in 300BO recently and want to do the same with it, suppress it.
