.350 Legend / .450 Bushmaster Feed problems Solved?

I was looking at this thread wondering if I misdiagnosed my .450 AR problem. Not only did I get confirmation on my assumption, but also got to see a full fledged pissing match! :pop2:
Nah. This is just what happens when the vessticles steps in. SOP round here.

So is a 1 in 12 twist barrel good for 77 grain match bullets if you get them to feed and chamber? Asking for a friend that is selling a 1000 meter sniper .223 ar-15 that he built on his coffee table wearing some sweet Tasco glass from WalMart. These threads never run out of funny.

If your 350/450 came from BCA, they will repair, test fire, and advise what ammunition was used during test fire. I would never consider products like these to be suitable for police, military, or serious defensive use. Nor would they be what I carried on a $5000 guided hunt. BCA products are generally accurate enough for hunting in the Southeastern United States-200 meters and in. That are also a good value to experiment with different calibers on the cheap or as range toys for the price of taking the family to a ball game. I’ve owned 2 of their uppers, one worked fine and the other had to go back for not chambering. The 350 feed ramps were cut incorrectly causing the rounds to enter the chamber at too great of an angle. BCA reworked the upper and test fired. I got the upper back, and it feeds and chambers just fine now. The purpose of the 350 is to let my son who is rail thin and average height practice for the upcoming deer season with the carbine that he is going to use in the fall. He is old and mature enough for hunting, but just too small for most traditional hunting rifles. There is no way that I would ever take the BCA to battle, or put it in the rifle rack of a police car. There are too many better choices. Price a 30-30 and the $250 upper starts making sense for a youth rifle. The point of this is please don’t make these cheap uppers something that they are not, but they can work quite well for what they are meant to be.
