OK so if I'm reading this correctly, the battery is weak, pulling about 5.5 of the available 6 volts, yes? I tested all eight, still connected, and each tested exactly the same. Does that sound right?

Yeah. I'm starting to regret my decision. I had the opportunity to get either the gas or the electric model and I went with the electric because it was quieter and I didn't want to pay for gas. Now I'm wondering whether or not I ever would have put $1000 worth of gas in it.
Lifepo4 batteries are awesome! We use them in powerwheels and battery backups. More capacity and way less weight.
Me and the kids ride the hell out of this thing, I fill it up maybe once a month to month and a half. Probably gets 20+ mpg if I had to guess
I miss my gas buggy, it just straight wore out. I still have it and am thinking about putting a predator or some fairly reasonable engine on it.
If you run out of gas, anyone can bring you a gallon or 2 but when the batteries die, you're screwed..
