The countdown is on. It's time to get ready. I still have to sight in my rifle, shotgun, and muzzleloader but other than one range trip I am ready to go. I tell myself that this year is going to be awesome every year but I really feel it this year. My goal is 4 mature deer in the freezer. I definitely need to shoot a buck this year. I didn't kill a buck the last 2 years.

Yeah, I'm pumped. Got a new place in South Georgia that, at the very least, is going to be fantastic small game hunting. I've also got a specific big buck I'm after on my local property. There have only been two sightings of him, but the last one was last week about 75 yards from where I killed a big 8 point last year.

Sorry, got to post the long range, low light pic I got of him last February one more time. LOL
