5.45x39 1080rnd spam can value?!?

Idk if this is necessarily the right place to ask this question, I've only ever participated in buys/sells/trades on OTD... Figured you ammo nerds may have the most insight out of anyone online!


I have found some buy it now listings on GunBroker for $600 w/$50 shipping (sealed 5.45x39 1080rnd spam cans) but I am NOT an AK guy, so idk if this is fair or high (or low)!! I have 1x sealed can, and a .5-.80 full opened spam can.

GunBroker is a wild place and idk if it's fair to judge values off of listing prices, as I have seen some absolutely wild HIGH prices in the past for some firearms.

Just trying to give someone a fair deal!

Seems like 5.45 priced at 50cpr doesn't sell very quickly on ODT. Online it runs 55cpr plus shipping plus tax.

Seems like a bunch of folks have pulled back on their spending. Maybe that will change since it's tax refund time.

400-500 plus shipping seems to be current prices if you get off here and gb
Some ask for more and some are willing to pay a little more
For 65cpr, I'll go buy a more accurate modern commercial round that won't rot my rifle and suppressor

Might command a slight premium if it's 7N6 (Light armor piercing). Some people like that.

Last ones sold on here for $450ish per can, the ones at $500 or higher just keep getting relisted.
