Would have enjoyed a takedown and inspection of the chamber with some before and after wear measurements.
That has always been why I haven't shot steel cased out of my AR's.
Now my AK's get a regular diet of steel cased ammo and love it.
I cannot remember a FTF or jam in over 4000 rounds with the Wolf I have used.
As to the indoor ranges that won't allow steel case, I am sure it is for the brass recycling reasons cited above.
I have personally seen plain FMJ lead bullets slice through steel like butter at 100 yards, so I wouldn't go with that reason.
Anything out of a full-on rifle (not just a 22LR) will muck up your range equipment.
