7.62x39 Optic Recommendations

I recently picked up two new rifles and looking for optic options for both.

First is a Ruger American Gen II in 7.62x39, and second is an AR in 7.62x39. Both will more than likely see 150 yards or less shots due to the limitations of the caliber.

Both rifles will serve as target and/or possibly dual role as a hog gun. I’m not familiar with this caliber and it’s partnership with optics. I am considering 1-4, or 1-6 LPVO or should I consider 2-7x32, 3-9x40, etc? Looking to spend $500 or less on each optic. Thanks for your experience and advice in advance!

It’s just a standard duplex. Which is what I prefer on a close range rifle. I really like the 2-7 on my ranch 7.62. It’s a perfect combo.
