Anybody up a tree this evening? I'm in a hardwood bottom in Paulding, hoping to make a connection tonight.

I was out last evening.
I watched a Monster buck for a half hour 25 yards from me.
Too many branches in the way but he was rubbing all over a downed oka root system, on hind legs reaching real high and rubbing all
Over it.
Kept walking around it and doing it over and over.
He just would t break out long enough for a shot or come close enough but he did finally come right near my ladder when it was too dark to see him.
He will be back.
Was at least an 8 point, real high, nice spread, fat neck, gigantic body.
The biggest buck I’ve seen back there yet and he was a real light fawn color.
A definite freezer filler.

I hope you get him.
I didnt sleep a wink all night, acid reflux from a late dinner….dumb move on my part.
I’ll be wearing my harness on my ladder tonight in case I fall asleep.

Skunked but ran off a nice sized herd on my way in.
