98.5 KOME Radio in San Jose used these catchy phrases in the late 70’s.

When I was a teenager in South Macon you could tell all the heads and cool dudes by their 96Rock T shirts. See there wasn't anywhere in middle GA to score those shirts so you had to head up yonder to find them and the stickers/ car tags. And there was never a station in Macon that could compare to it. So in the 80s especially the early 80s having your 96 Rock colors in Macon made you as cool as the dudes with the Zig Zag or Job 1.5 T shorts.
Man there's whole neighborhoods in Macon and I'm sure around Atlanta where they would shoot you dead for that car.
