Back in the 80s with radio in the North Atlanta area you knew where you stood. You had Z93 for the kiddies 96 Rock was more mainstream pop and 96 Rock then you had wvie off the Marietta Square for got taken over turned into what it is now back then you knew where you stood now I have no idea. It would be really neat if somebody had a 96 Rock license tag reunions somewhere

Yeah see that was the problem we had in Macon. We were too far south to pick up the Atlanta stations and all our stations sucked.

I still don't see how they could let 96 Rock get changed into some random FM bull**** .

My brother had a '59 El Camino with an AM radio and I can remember the 96 Rock AM station from the single speaker on the dash.
