9mm largo/9mm steyr ammo

Does anyone know for sure if it is safe to fire 9mm steyr ammo in a star modelo super chambered in 9mm largo? I have a few of star pistols chambered in 9mm largo but it is getting harder and harder to find 9mm largo ammo. I also have a couple of steyr 9mm's with a ton of ammo. Is it safe to fire the 9mm steyr rounds in a pistol chambered for 9mm largo??
