I am looking for the perfect 9mm for me. So far I am leaning towards a Walther PPQ... seeing if anyone has any other suggestion(s) close to that gun.

What I am looking for:

-superior ergonomics (grip)
-polymer
-full size
-great for concealed carry

I know it all boils down to my own personal preference but I'm seeing if anyone (with wide knowledge of 9mm/guns) has any 9mm's that I could research.

I had a Sig SP2022 but it was just a little too bulky for me.

As far as ergonomics go, I'd suggest going to a well stocked gun store and handling everything to see what fits your hand.

Full sized vs. "great" for concealed carry... seems a little hard to compare those two. I'm very used to carrying my G26. I carried my G17 one day and I felt like there was an anchor on my side.

I had a SP2022 for awhile, but the barrel (i.e. bore axis) was too high over the grip for me to get used to... and the external hammer was tough to go back to after shooting a striker fired pistol so much.

Very true - I guess I gotta sacrifice the 'great concealed carry' a little bit if I want full size. Thanks

The USP and P30 are fantastic pistols that allow the user to really customize the pistol to their hand and style. The P30 has swappable grip panels and back strap. It's offered with and without safety and in a longslide as well.

We see every brand/ make & model come through our classes. The 9mm chosen & carried by far by both professionals & civilians is the Glock 19.
It's become almost laughable... we call it the "Goldilocks gun".

It might not be the perfect one for you but it is far & away the top choice by most people in mine & the other Instructors from other schools that I speak with.

The S&W M&P 9mm is not bad either. Some prefer the more traditional grip angle.

You know you are like the 3rd person who suggested an HK P30. I'll have to go check it out at my local shop. Thanks
No kidding it is very comfortable, and stable in the hand. My 9 year old shot it as well, she is persnickety about hand guns but loved it.
