Wow. I mean EVERYBODY knows that a spring type clamp provides a much more even constant clamping force than a worm drive style. I mean, Dang it, man.

LOL. Never even looked at this thread before and just read the whole thing. Unbelievable. I am not ashamed to say that after building a couple AR's a while back the only thing I left for someone else was the castle nut staking...and I took it to cmshoot . I am sure I would have been fine, but didn't want my first try at it to be on guns I had so much time and energy into on the rest of the process.
