AAC and Palmetto State Armory

I like Q as well they're definitely one of the top companies currently. But AAC was just as big and a local company 10ish years ago. Just looking for any thoughts to what's going on happen to AAC

PSA is too big to be detail oriented, I suspect they will glean the most popular and easiest to produce of the current AAC lineup and figure a way to lower the build cost.

Brittingham's quality and innovation will be no more (just as it hasn't been since Remington).
I agree, I was wondering about their quality control as well. I know several people offer a service to cut off the QD ratchet mount and weld on a mount that uses Q's Cherry bomb mount. Seems very interesting, just didn't want to void my warranty

Years ago I bought a DDI AK-74, and within 6 months PSA had bought them and they disappeared off the face of the map. For another year or so there were nothing but rumors about a PSA AK though, and then their Gen 1s showed up. After several iterations they finally got things right, and now their AKs are considered solid choices, if you can find them in stock.

All that came from the kernel of the DDI purchase years ago.

My guess is that they are looking to do the same with suppressors and AAC. I'm sure they will come out with a few "me too" ones over the next year or two, but I wouldn't be surprised if they started coming out with some value-priced, quality suppressors in a couple of years or so.
