Did it so I can tell my kids about it one day.
I kind of want to start a good rumor, you know like, "Academy in McDonough received 5 pallets of ammo this morning so they suspended the limits on how much you can buy!"
If you want to start a good rumor, let everyone know if you show up with the gun you want ammo for, you move to the front of the line.

Twas me in the line. I pissed a lot of them off. I pulled out my phone and showed pictures of the pallets of 9mm and 5.56 i have here at the house. They was maaaaaaddddddddd. I bought the 3 boxes of allotted ammo, then asked who wanted to buy it off me after i checked out. Made the beards even more mad.
For the record, i only made 1 cent over what i paid for the ammo. 32.08 for 3 boxes of the magical green tip.

I went into Forsyth gun and pawn yesterday and they had wolf steel 115gr 9mm for $12.99 a box.
Still expensive for cheap steel case range Ammo, but cheap considering what prices look like now.
I think I saw it for $9.99 pre covid.
