Not many alternatives for squirrel hunters. Can step up to a .17 but then any fun shooting would be even more expensive, or air rifles which a good one would cost as much or more than a new 17. Shotguns for squirrels just takes the fun out of it to me.

Got a beeman dual caliber up right now for $65 that is minute of squirrel at 30 yards. But yeah my benjamin discovery, pump and tko ldc set me back like 450. Bad ass little backyard squirrel eliminator though.
