Accurate 5744 for .223

Well this good to know. I guess I am back to searching around for some store that has a appropriate powder in stock.

Thanks for the input.

I have a dream that one day I will finally be able to load some 223 (only been waiting 6 months to find the right supplies).

Give them a call at GA Arms in Villa Rica and see what they have in stock. Last time I went by, I picked up 3-lbs of Varget, they also had some H335 and BL-C(2).

Yeah that is my biggest concern. It fills half the case.

It is the starting load.

I like hearing the powder crunch just a little when I seat the bullet,,,the rifle case wont hold all the powder for some max loads in a 222 mag, I would much rather have them full or almost full , than half full

wont cycle an ar or semi at that burn rate

I will be able to get to the range today, so I will see how it shoots.

I will not be loading a ton of these (as we have discussed not really the a well suited power) but it would be good to know if this could be a worst case situation option if needed.

Post up pics of spent case head (primer) close up if ya can...

All 10 cycled the bolt on my AR.
