Adding person to NFA Trust

What is the process to add a person to your trust? What forms are needed? Anybody have those forms to share?

It does depend somewhat on the language in your trust. I have a trust that doesn't require that I have the amendments notarized, for example.

As rumrunner55 said, the usual process is to have an amendment page and then have it notarized. You then need to make sure that change is included in any subsequent Form 4 applications you make. Bear in mind that under the current regulations, that new trustee will have to be fingerprinted etc for that application and that this may impact your wait times.

I suspect that you may have language in the trust documentation that talks about how you can add and remove trustees. If that language is present, I'd advise following it to the letter.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but like the OP I need to update my trust but my original lawyer hasn't responded to my emails or phone call, can anyone offer a suggestion?

I just fired up Word, added the names to the trust on the additional page and had it notarized.
