Advice on gun trade, yes or no

I will post pics of the Colt later as I pick it up today. The Smith was just the gun no box, -2. Craig, Retirement is the best thing in the world. I could not stand being home so I work full time at the SO as a road deputy and part time at the local college as the Chief of Police. As far as my daughter selling them, last time I was in the hospital in TX several friends called to see if my wife needed someone to check on my safe.

Parolebear, you know I am a Smith guy. However, I would make the trade as long as the nickel Colt does not have any pitting or flaking of the nickel finish. Pitting leads to flaking on nickel finishes, so make sure you inspect the Colt. I do not at present own any long barreled Smiths. Just my preference. Whether the Colt Lawman will appreciate in value, who knows for sure. I just believe that the Colt will be much easier to sell, if you decide to sell, simply due to the barrel length. Good luck on your decision, and post pics if you decide to trade.
