Ak hammer spring issue

Trying to figure out on how to put the spring back on hammer and why they are twisting up so badly when I try to put them behind the hammer to reinstall .. any thoughts

All those springs are twisted around each other. Uncoil all that stuff.

When you drop it in the receiver, have it positioned sideways and turn the hammer and spring assembly so the coils will be against the sides of the receiver.

Now take it back out and remove the spring and assemble everything without the spring so you can check that retainer plate fitment.

thanks will try and this is still a factory trigger just bought a zastava pap m92 .. so might just end up changing the whole thing to a tapco or akt trigger

Idk tapco AK triggers are pretty much the only thing that company has done right. Alg are nice had one got ride of it. It's all personal preference but TAPCO all the way for my AK triggers

bulletpaluza I don't discriminate when it comes to triggers. As long as it functions well. Its as good as the one in my SGL-21 so no reason to mess with it.
