AK Jamming Problem 74 & 47 Help

I'm new to the AK world...............recoil buffer ?l

Try different mags. Just because they lock in tight doesnt mean they will feed correctly.


Besides, it's always nice to have a few extra mags around.

Could be they are not broken in or they are out of spec. Does the gun cycle the ammo by hand or does it only jam when shooting?

Cycles by hand all day long, can run 30 fast or one at a time

If its trying to feed 2 rounds it sounds like a mag height problem. The bolt is picking up 2 rds. Check and see if there is a spacer between the mag latch and the receiver. You can file the mag latch to lower the back of the mag a little. Had the same issue with a vector receiver.

I've seen some Tapco hammers that needed some polishing... and no telling how tight or out of spec they were built...

No it dumps everythong that has been shot
