AK vs. AR. GUNDERDOME! Two Guns Enter, Only One Will Leave. UPDATE in OP!!!

I will be using this MAK-90 w/ unassisted optics.

This test should determine 2 fairly consistent observances if I am correct.

1. The AR is more accurate.
2. The AK is more reliable.

throw em in a creek, loaded, safety on(duh). muzzle pointed down stream. upstream of the rifles kick up some sand or dirt so it gets them good and gritty. have a smoke, and then remove the rifles and empty 30rd mag as rapidly as possible. most of all be safe.

Only problem is that I don't have a stream by my range. I would agree to launch them out into the lake (with ropes attached)and drag them back slowly to let them get mucky inside.

We need a video!!!

Video??? I want an invite!
I'm betting on the AK.

Kalashnikov - "Reliability depends on a variety of factors. First: A short locking distance of the firing chamber. Second: All moving parts are installed with more space between them. All designers sought to tighten them up, while I, on the contrary, let them hang with absolute freedom. You take a handful of sand, throw it in the rifle, retract the bolt and fire! These factors, the simplicity and the reliability allowed this weapon to march around the globe."
