Anybody loading this stuff for .308?
Alliant claims some pretty darn high velocity for it.
Anyone with decent results want to share any Data on it? I called Sierra this morning and they say they haven't been able to get any for testing so they have no data available. I called Nosler and got Start and Max loads and the numbers I'm hearing make me think I'll probably run out of case capacity before getting a Max load. I'm going to have to see how bulky or dense this powder really is
According to Alliants Data Maximum loads .308 Win
A 130gr HP Speer 3100fps
A 150gr BTSP Speer 2950fps
A165gr BTSP Speer 2840fps
A 168gr Sierra HPBT 2775fps
Speer 150gr TBBC 2950fps
Sierra 175gr HPBT 2720fps
Speer 165gr TBBC 2830fps
Seems awful fast even with a long test barrel doesn't it? I hope it's as accurate as it is fast.
