I’ve never really been taught. Always self taught myself hunting.
it's difficult, I had someone to show me ropes, last year was my first season but I'm hooked. If you start up best thing to do after finding good signs of them dont call too much and stay still lol
I’m just more into deer hunting. There is more meat involved LOL
that's true, I do enjoy having a full freezer. But there is just something about hearing that gobble at sunrise.
I’ll have to look into it more this year. I’m not a fan of hunting in the heat either though.

Turkey hunting was a lot more fun 10-15 yrs ago. You used to just go to a gobbling bird, it didn’t matter what side of the fence it was on. Now that just about every deer hunter thinks he is a turkey hunter, it’s not near as fun.
