Amazon - Blown Away!!!

This is just crazy....two days ago I purchased an Arlo Pro wireless surveillance camera system off of Amazon on a whim just for giggles.....the wife has said she does not want any cameras in the house but this camera is wireless with a 4 month Lithium Ion battery and weatherproof. I figured it would be OK outside.

Well, later that day I returned to my senses and attempted to cancel same. Nothing had been marked as shipped yet, Arlo was still in the fulfillment stage, however Amazon replied that it was too late to cancel but I could submit a return request once my item was delivered....

Arlo was delivered yesterday and this morning I requested a return.....and it was DENIED.....wait a minute, what???? denied???? What the Feezy Weezy????? Amazon denied a return? I have never had that happen.

Looks like old Arlo and I are stuck with each other...lesson learned, right? Um, no.....(well sort of no)

I submitted a help request on the return asking why I was unable to return a brand new unopened item and got the following response in like 3 minutes....

I've issued a refund for 213.54 USD, which includes the cost of the item and its associated shipping costs.

So, yeah....now I feel bad..... I ordered on a whim, cancelled when I regained sanity to try to stop Amazon from shipping and I was too late. Then I requested a return and essentially got Arlo for free because they don't accept items considered hazardous (Lithium Ion Batteries) for return.... It's a great deal for me but I somehow feel like I unintentionally gamed the system.

Now I feel guilty and need to go spend more money.....this would be a PERFECT time for Beretta to release the Threaded APX Barrel....

I have dealt with items like this in the past with a "points" clearing house.
The product is manufactured and shipped for less than it would be worth to return.
Think on that a minute... why would they not want to ship or store something they already store and ship???

Man that's funny my neighbor tried buying it off amazon 4 times each time he got a denial email saying they didn't have it in stock and or couldn't ship it.

So he broke down and bought the Arlo Pro 3 camera wireless system from Costco the other day and we were installing it yesterday. he called me this morning to tell me it alerted him 30 something times lastnight because it is picking up every vehicle that pulls in the neighborhood from the street
