Terrible waste of ammo but military specs speak for themselves. I have numerous surplus army steel cans and recently invested in the Plano plastic cans which stack and store well. My ammo purchases from LAX come packaged in even cheaper black plastic cans which are made in USA by Berry's Mfg. Except for the actual military surplus, the Plano and the LAX are water resistant.

My real surplus cans seal up fine, but these chinese made knockoffs you see for sale now don't seal. I have 4 and not one seals like the GI cans do.
