223 seems to do the trick. Even with FMJ, the temporal cavity seems to encompass about 1/5 of an armadillo.

I've shot them with 12 GA steel 4 shot, and 9mm too. Never seems to be a problem with any of those calibers.

You crazy. I was at gum log when someone unloaded their .45 into a Dillo. It got hit once maybe even twice and it still got away.

Someone else unload someone's .45.

And then chased it into a shed, and then still lost it!!!

My experience with my PMR-30 and the Win Super X 40 gr HP's is DRT on opossums and dillos. Coons too.

I am not a fan of the 30 gr stuff out of handguns, terrific killer out of rifle barrels though!

I shot one once with a 300 win mag and had to finish it off with a few rounds from a 357 sig. Tough little buggers.
