Picking up my first ever AK today.
I do not know anything about them but I was told a Wasr 10 Romanian is a good one.
I just want to be able to say yes if someone asks if I own an AK LOL

Me and some friends was at the range and we had an I.O., a mak-90, and an Arsenal and we all actually liked the I.O. Best. Based on our combined knowledge this proves cheaper guns are better or the same.

LOL...Or get a wood fore end. Either one is pretty inexpensive.
WASR's are not precision rifles but they are accurate enough and as reliable as any semi auto rifle I've ever seen. They work. Period.
I remember when SG had 10 packs of eastern European surplus mags for $89...Mostly Albanian...I stacked 'em deep. Best thing I ever did for my AK's. I would love to see that deal pop up again.
