Ankle Holsters

What are some good ankle holsters I can wear either an lcr or airweight in? I'm in construction and can't conceal on my waist with my toolbelt on. shoulder carry wont work neither.

I usually wear GA slip on boots or tennis shoes if that helps.

Galco "Ankle Lite". Only one worth a hoot IMO. Used em for years.

I used a Galco ankle glove on duty for years. With tennis shoes the ankle holster will slide down onto your ankle which is very uncomfortable.

I used a desantis one for a while. It wasnt as fancy as the leather galco ones but it was cheaper and held my j-frame perfectly. Id buy another one in a heartbeat

I have not used it, but the Telor Tactical looks interesting. Especially the one that custom molds to your ankle and gun

Desantis Apache. Lightweight and fits great. Easy on the wallet too.

I briefly tried a fobus for a 642; It just wasn't comfortable or secure on me. It would spin around my leg. Then I got a galco ankle glove that was comfortable, but I went in a different direction and I don't think I ever actually wore it other than to try it on. If I were to ankle carry, I'd go straight for the ankle glove.

Avoid ankle holsters if your can.

I had a friend who was mugged. Every time he went for is gun, the muggers kicked him in the face. He spent several days in ICU.

I can find it hard to imagine a tactical situation in which I will be grabbing my ankles.

Thanks Yall. I've been carrying a couple of weeks now and carry everywhere but work and feel naked without it. figure ankle will work in winter and I can get some cargo shorts and pocket carry for summer.
