Daughter called yesterday afternoon looking for ammo for a friend. He’s a regular shooter, yet running out of 9mm?
Told her I had none I was willing to part with.
Looked up a site I had recently bought some from, found they had 12 boxes left at semi-reasonable covid pricing.
She said she’d tell him right away.
Checked site about 20 minutes later, 0 in stock.
Called her back, figured friend had cleaned it out.
Nope, she said he’d gone for a walk, figuring to order up later.
Now I understand how he’s out of ammo.

I do not have any ammo or guns. And if you do, and you are talking about it, you are risking your house being broken in to. Not while you are home and can defend it, but rather when you are at work. Coming home to a raided stockpile of guns and ammo would suck, happened to a friend last week. Guns and ammo are the next currency.
