For a 12-13" rail probably not. I did not see a weight measurement for the rail itself but UTG stuff is pretty cheap, and cheap usually means heavier. I typically dont't like rails longer than mid length - 9". If yours is 7" and 12oz, i'd say that is on the heavy side.

I look forward to hearing your feedback once you get a few rounds through it. I've only been able to find a reference to one review that said a few feed issues and tight mag initially but overall positive on it.

Gotcha... first thing that needs to be done to it is form 1'd and barrel cut.

Yeah that would be my only interest after putting a few hundred rounds through it to make sure it is good-to-go. It's also a good excuse to pick up another Glock...
