Another dead UGA?

I just can't understand why the University of Georgia uses the English Bulldog, and not the American Bulldog which originated here in Georgia? Make the change from a fat, barely breathing piece of flab to a 100-150 lb AMERICAN bulldog that can toss a hog. Still looks like a Bulldog and will actually live more than a few years. Strange...

Because thats what the mascot always has been and always will be. An English Bulldog, short, stocky and wrinkled. Not some half Pitbull looking thing.

This is not UGA and would never be accepted by any U.G.A. fan or student
