Any advice on running a small Forestry Mulching business?

I wouldn’t mow some one’s lawn for $50/hour. From last I heard lawn guys running legitimate businesses were charging $60 or more/man hour and that was several years ago.

I got a bunch of my land mulched and I highly regretted it, I should have got it cleared in the first place - same cost to run a loader… the mulching grew back the next year and looked AWFUL!

Spray the following year when weed foliage is close to ground and you are good to go.

You may want to state your location and size of pond. Small pond could mean anything from koi pond to 2 acres.

Only 3 possibilities when you own a business, lose money, break even or make money. You can only stay in business with one of those possibilities. If you are making money at $50 an hour............., well you're not so there's that.

There's always a customer that thinks my price is absurd, yet they have no idea of how much overhead is involved or how average my income is. Nor do they care as their brains cannot process beyond the mental block when they see/ hear the price.

The costs have been clearly spelled out multiple times in the thread but you just keep spouting off that people on here are crooks and significantly overusing exclamation points lmao.

Individuals 62 Years of Age and Older May Claim an Individuals 62 years of age or over that are residents of each independent school district may claim an additional exemption from all ad valorem taxes for educational purposes and to retire school bond indebtedness if the income of that person and his spouse does not exceed $10,000 for the prior year. Income from retirement sources, pensions, and disability income is excluded up to the maximum amount allowed to be paid to an individual and his spouse under the federal Social Security Act. The social security maximum benefit for 2005 is $46,536. The owner must notify the tax assessors office if for any reason they no longer meet the requirements for this exemption.
