I have a specialized tarmac rode bike. Less than 500miles, knees can't take riding long distances, really bugs me!

Nice bike! Dang that sucks though. I started riding because it is easy on my knees. I hope they don't get to bad to ride.

I'm game for the beltline. I'll ride my Mtn bike but I'm still trying to get in shape so I might be the slow one. Doesn't the trail (PATH) that runs into Stone Mountain Park connect with the beltline somewhere? There's a heard of rodies that blow by me when I'm doing laps around the park and I think someone said they come up from Atlanta. It's like being run over by a bicycle stampede.
I am def going for a ride tomorrow. Weather is bleak - look at the 10 day forecast.
I've been riding a lot this month trying to get to 5,000 miles for the year. I am at 4,839 right now. It's tough to make yourself go out an ride when it's below 40 degrees.
It looks brutal. 5k Miles is awesome. Wow.
I am not sure I have mentioned this before but if you have a GPS enabled cycling computer or watch/wristband you can upload your workouts to www.strava.com to keep track of them. It's free and lets you compare your times and efforts to others you know.
