I use to ride before I got married, kid, full time job, guns... last bike I had was a Haro MarySS, single speed, full ridged, 29er. I miss it.

Ok I'm riding my cheap fat tire single speed mongoose more and more and actually starting to get into it. Thinking about buying a decent hybrid to make things more enjoyable. Any budget friendly suggestions. I believe in but once, cry once, but I got to be reasonable. Totally cool with buying used but don't really know what to look for.

I would buy a trek 7.2 hybrid circa 2012-2013 for $250 used and ride it for the next 10 years.

My Trek 7200 still going strong, solid bike, solid advice.
Get you a nice trip computer (cat eye) is what I use, and a comfortable seat.

I would offer $200 tops. not a bad ride there is a light blue 7.2 for $250 in CL. I would snag that one. Mine has 2k miles on it and it keeps trucking.

I like this one...Trek 7.2 FX 17.5 Frame not sure why the seat is so low. But whatever.
