Any help would be great, Winchester 94 problem.

I see, well after I check to make sure its the headspace and not a shallow chamber, I guess I'll be looking for a gunsmith. Thanks again, I would have never thought to check the chamber with a piece of cut brass!

Some of the rimmed headspace gauges I have seen look little more than a washer with a stub to hold it in place as the bolt closes.

If you had a way to mill a case head down a bit, you could also verify it has insufficient headspace. But that is more difficult than shortening a case.

If it is too little headspace, it can be corrected with a pull through chamber reamer. This at least saves you from having to remove the barrel.
