These technical manuals were my Dad's. Flew B-24, C-47, C-54s as a flight engineer.

Very cool! My father served in the 20th Air Force during WWII. He manned the left blister gunner’s position on a B-29. 27 combat missions and 7 show of force missions after the surrender. He trained in Florida on a B-24 that had been modified with the remote control gun system the B-29s were equipped with.

I left the big boys in 96 and went to B1 Bombers

I will take airdrops on a 141 anytime over that, or gunships

141 were Monster Big took One ride in Nam on one. No passengers so I was invited to ride in the Cockpit...I climbed the ladder and saw three Bunks in the Cockpit, it looked like I was 3 stories in the up, while on the ground..HUGE MOTHER!
