Very cool! My father served in the 20th Air Force during WWII. He manned the left blister gunner’s position on a B-29. 27 combat missions and 7 show of force missions after the surrender. He trained in Florida on a B-24 that had been modified with the remote control gun system the B-29s were equipped with.
