We are going there in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anybody knows of any wrecks or reefs near the destin pass. We are going after king fish, but we will settle for other fish as well. Thanks for any help.

Anybody fish out if Destin FL?

Good fishing in the gulf, cant help you with a spot we went out with a local boat owner and after chumming the water for the rest of the family i refuse to go back 
My dad took us years ago and he was sick the whole time the captain kept telling him to feed those fish. He refuses to go back also.
no reef but there are piles of concrete rubble from the old destin bridge out in front of the pass...
Ask about the bridge rubble if you run a charter or fish off of the jeddis which is right by the destin bridge that runs right into fort Walton
We are going to charter a boat for one day of offshore fishing, then fish off our boat the rest if the time around the pass. I will ask about the bridge rubble. Thanks
What fish are you targeting?
Buy a Hilton's chart of the area. This time of year you should have a good chance at cobia, king, spanish, and sheepshead.
When we charter a boat we always go out of Panama City even if we stay in Destin. We always use Captain Benji Kelly, it's a family run fleet of three boats. The Miss Kelly, Kelly Girl and I can't remember the third one. Have always had great success with Benji.
