casting is a lot of fun and adds to the whole reloading process and saves a good bit of money

I enjoy Casting and reloading my own ammo. Rifle rounds are not a problem at all, just use gas checks and keep the velocity at 1800 fps or less. And you have to lube the projectiles as well, I use Lee tumble lube.

Lyman use to have a good book on bullet casting if you can find one.

Only problem you will have with cast bullets in rifles is if they are gas operated.
