OK so I like to try new things. Been doing the powder coating thing for a while and it works very well. But...someone mentioned copper plating DIY style, so I gave it a whirl. Very time consuming not really worth the effort. After scrubbing the 12th bullet before its bath. I realized this wasn't for me. You can Utube it if you want but in the end little reward for the effort.

Anyone electroplating their lead bullets???

I don't see how it would be worth it. My time is worth more than that. How do you like powder coating the bullets? The only bullets I shoot that I cast myself are for my Martini Henry and my Trapdoor.
I enjoy reloading ,but don't want it to become a chore .
But some folks like their bullets to be purdy :0)

And boy, does some Mirror Black powder coat look GOOD on some cast bullets!
