Yea, I got the amber alert on my cell phone. it just popped up and froze up my sreen until i closed it.

Yea A dad from Roswell kidnapped his two sons and was believed to be headed to Nashville I own a contract company and we maintain the fiber to all the cell towers for Verizon in the ATL area and they have the amber alert equipment in all their towers if you have Verizon or sprint you should have gotten it. I live on the GA TN state line and I got it as well. Im pretty sure every VZW cell tower has the Amber equipment in them I spliced about 500 towers in West Virginia and all those towers had the Amber equipment as well. Sprint uses VZW towers for their roaming and if you have a smart phone of any kind with VZW or Sprint (as long as your cell is set to roam) you will get those alerts but today is the first one I've ever received so they must have launched the equipment recently
