Some of mine. Usually either a play on words, or some other kind of connection.
I have a Ruger PC carbine in a Backpacker stock and a 10/22 in one as well, so they are "Fat Man" and "Little Boy"
A Ruger Gunsite Scout that ended up being called "The Colonel"
And a 300BLK AR 'Other' named Vera. because she's always dressed up and ready to go out.
A Mini-14 with a Samson side folding stock named "Hannibal" for obvious reasons.

had a buddy that had a mohawk .308....painted flat black(rust-oleum)...called his black death...years ago
