I have one made in Spain (iirc) that I hate. 9mm and ugly as sin. But when the f*g patrol comes around I just show it at the front door and say, 'nope, we're all straight here. See? 1911!"

I own 3 because I hit what I aim at... run a bunch of rounds thru them. I think I have one FTE?
