Anyone ever been to Amicalola Falls State Park?

We were at Burt’s Pumpkin Farm yesterday ( wife want some pumpkins for pies, yumm!), seems to be a bit more color every day. A fairly wet summer combined with no rain since Helene came through means less vibrant colors this fall though.

We go there twice a year and pick up all the trash around the stairs going to the top of the falls. As a reward, the park lets us rappel the waterfalls.

most of the leaves have changed and fallen. The falls are beautiful and Springer mtn is spectacular. Preachers rock which is less than a mile from Woodys gap is also incredible.

I used to go every spring and summer up there (27 y.o.)and loved it after I made the trek to the end, LOL. And, if I'm honest you don't notice the distance at all while hiking because of the scenery and people.
