I completely agree that they don't do a thing for accuracy, but to state that a piece of silicone ****ed that rifle up is false.

Without the piece of silicone, the rifle functioned properly.

Add the piece of silicone and the rifle ceased to function properly.

Remove the piece of silicone and the rifle once again functioned properly.

That gun was ****ed from the start. That rubber didn't break it and YOU didn't fix it.

I used to take your armorer advice for the law, but the thing is you're so "matter-of-factly"(pretentious) about everything it's hard not to dismiss it.

This reminds me of that thread about crushing magazines because they allegedly caused the gun to go 1/2moa off...
 
There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. I don't claim to know everything. However, I do know a 2.00 piece of silicone has enough elasticity not to conform steel and forged alloy bending it to it's will.
