Anyone have a 5.56 mak 90?

Try Promags. Sometimes they work. Or convert EG bakelites.
Try a Bulgy 5.56. Some have had luck. Or pay $90 for a factory mag.

They are nice rifles. Just be on the look out for a few factory magazine and enjoy your rifle. :)

Here are some magazines for $16.95 each.

And now back to AK 5.56/.223 rifles and magazines. Unlike the AK47 in 7.62x39 or in 5.45 x 39, there was no standard of design or manufacture. The East German and Romanian magazine interchange with good results as it is believed that the Romanians were looking at the German 5.56 version closely.

" Even Chinese magazines are proprietary. Norinco mags work only in Norinco guns and Polytech mags only work in Polytech guns. Polish Beryl, Bulgarian Circle 10, and Russian mags are interchangeable with Polish, Bulgy, and Russian 5.56 guns. East German Weiger and Romanian mags fit East German and Romanian rifles. Yugo 5.56 mags are proprietary too. Although I believe you can modify a Bulgarian Circle 10 mag to fit a Yugo."
