OK, I'll look into it.OnX is way better than google maps. You can research trails, download other folks routes that worked, great app for a few bucks a month.
I'm looking really hard at that, too. But then the dog has to ride in the back with the girls and she's as big as they are. I know that seat's made for three, but...Fridge for the back was the best spend I ever made as well.

I assume it's possible but, how would one pinch a cross cut saw? Cut from the tense side and wedge as needed.Saw gets pinched, then what?
That’s why you use wedges and an axe same as for a chainsaw. Knowing how to read binds and using the right cuts prevents saws getting pinched.Saw gets pinched, then what?
A small axe, a one-man saw with a screw-on auxiliary/assist handle and a couple of wedges would not take up much space.A cross cut saw would pack smaller and lighter than an axe.....hmmmm.....
That's crazy. I can't imagine. I used to race mountain bikes back when I was much younger and smaller but the whole "bikepacking" thing is crazy to me. Good for you!Cool route, great intel. Cycled TNGA years ago, uses many of the same gravel roads.
You know my Jeep. I likely wouldn't try this without significant mods, including skid plates...I really want to do this with my kids one day but in a pretty stock gx460. Anything crazy technical?
