Anyone have experience with AK magazines?

So about AK magazine fitment... I've got this AK and it came with a polymer magpul that fits AWESOME. No wobble anywhere at all, great. So I decided I want steel mags and would get the only semi-locally available steel mags I could find, a new Korean mag, and that thing wobbles front to back and side to side, like a lot... and it seems quite excessive. My question is, do any of you people with experience with different AK mags think that a European surplus steel mags would fit right? I understand that some side to side wobble is normal and I'm ok with that, but that Korean thing just ain't right. Mag recommendations appreciated. Thanks

Yeah a little wobble is normal. Use that Korean mag as a doorstop, and get yourself some European mags.

Of my most reliable 100% Import AKs have serious wobble l/r and forward and back and they’re utterly reliable.

Most AKs are imported as single stack, and well is enlarged in US. Depends on what monkey who used dremel that day, mag well could be tighter or looser.
Look for surplus mags, stay away from Korean mags, except for 20 rounders.

If you have to have new mags, these work good.
