This is what is known as a flock camera. Installed by your local PD to monitor you’re coming and goings. This is big brother at its finest if you don’t think so you are dead wrong. I have personally seen a police offer log into this and look for a girlfriends car.

You are correct but the HOA gets the recommendation from the Local PD and it gives them untethered access, as well as board members.

I live near Chris Carr, Ga Attorney General.. in the last month two cameras and solar panels have popped up on his street facing both directions with his house in the middle. When I first saw them i was like.. what in the world.. then I realized he is prosecuting all those Antifa radicals for the cop city riots... probably getting threats.. Go Chris..
